Lucas HackradtLucas has been working in the field of intercultural relations for over 12 years now, having acted as a volunteer (and staff member) of AFS Intercultural Programs for over a decade as an international trainer. He currently does advocacy work at the International Organisation for Migration (IOM) in West Africa. His specific focus is in ensuring the protection of migrants along the Mediterranean route. He holds a MA degree in Migration and Intercultural Relations and a BA in Communication Studies. He has been training intercultural matters for over 10 years now, with a specific focus in intercultural conflict resolution and cultural adaptation (more recently focused in migrant social integration). Lucas has lived in Brazil, his home country, Belgium, Germany, Norway, the USA, Mozambique, and the Czech Republic, but currently calls Senegal his home (and will surely let you know where he will go next).
