Fareeda Atwan is a freelance trainer/ facilitator from Cairo, Egypt, delivering trainings around the world. Ever since she returned from her AFS year in Italy in 2007/08, she’s been heavily involved, becoming a qualified trainer in Intercultural Communication with the AFS Intercultural Link Learning Program.
She graduated in 2012 with a degree in cultural anthropology, and currently works as a technical advisor in the economic development sector first with the German Cooperation in Egypt and later with the European Commission since 2015.
Fareeda is passionate about creating non-formal learning spaces and promoting alternative forms of education. She wishes to create such spaces in Cairo for both continued learning opportunities and for young adults.
