Andreja is EU funding expert and a freelance trainer and facilitator working with different organizations in Europe, Caucasus and MENA region on development and implementation of wide range of international non-formal learning projects. She holds a degree in Theology and currently is involved in MA in Law. During the past 10 years she has worked on development and implementation of training and consultation programs with civil society organizations in the framework of youth and capacity programs. She has training experience in the field of intercultural and interreligious dialogue, social inclusion and integration, human rights education, global education, youth policy development and active participation.
At the moment she is focused on Euro Mediterranean and Europe-Africa cooperation with the emphasis on intercultural and interreligious dialogue and relations between the West and predominantly Muslim societies. She is facilitator for Connect program, an online cross-cultural education program integrated into curriculum that provides young adults with opportunity to establish a deeper understanding for the perspectives of others around the world on important socio-political issues and to develop 21st Century skills such as critical thinking, cross-cultural communication and media literacy. Connect Program links students from over 100 universities in 30 countries across the Middle East, North Africa, South Asia, Europe, and North America. As a trainer and coordinator she is involved into No Hate Speech Movement-a youth campaign of the Council of Europe since the beginning in 2013. She developed and implemented various projects at national and international level focusing mostly on hate speech with cultural and religious background.
